Student Opportunities

We offer free year-round programming for San Francisco public high school students. Each session, YAX has visual, performing, and technical arts classes that meet multiple times each week.

EduSkate is a local nonprofit dedicated to utilizing the creativity and unifying power of skateboarding to develop and facilitate meaningful and transformative experiences for children and youth.

Earn community service hours and support middle school students! Gateway Middle School is looking for high school tutors to provide tutoring services at GMS (1512 Golden Gate Ave) on Tuesdays and Thursdays after school.

San Francisco Art & Film for Teens exists to make the arts a part of young people's lives.

The New Conservatory Theatre Center (NCTC) offers classes for students to explore theatre with short-term workshops to inspire their imaginations using topics such as puppetry, storybook theatre, stage makeup, improvisation and monologue/audition workshops.

Developed by Columbia University’s School of Professional Studies with support from corporate partners and community organizations, the Columbia Girls in STEM Initiative helps bridge the gender gap in science, technology, engineering, and math education.
