Student Opportunities
Description

Developed by Columbia University’s School of Professional Studies with support from corporate partners and community organizations, the Columbia Girls in STEM Initiative helps bridge the gender gap in science, technology, engineering, and math education. It prepares young women from underrepresented populations to enter college and the workplace with increased confidence and capability. The STEM Initiative engages young women through hands-on instruction in science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) while developing their leadership and communication skills. This program is open to qualified high school girls and boys.
