High School Engineering Program

High School Engineering Program

Comprised of high schoolers and a group of dedicated mentors, we aspire to help foster a nurturing environment for high school females to learn and explore their interests in engineering. Our 10-week program takes place every Saturday, from 10 AM to 1 PM, online over Zoom. There is no cost, as SWE provides everything. However, the students are responsible for having a computer with a stable wifi connection. If this is an issue, please mention it in the application or send us an email.

Girls in STEM Summer Program

Girls in STEM Summer Program

Developed by Columbia University’s School of Professional Studies with support from corporate partners and community organizations, the Columbia Girls in STEM Initiative helps bridge the gender gap in science, technology, engineering, and math education. It prepares young women from underrepresented populations to enter college and the workplace with increased confidence and capability. The STEM Initiative engages young women through hands-on instruction in science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) while developing their leadership and communication skills.
