California Academy of Sciences: Tech Teens

Tech Teens
Program
Student Opportunities
Description

Youth in the TechTeens program work with Academy experts to explore current science issues, and use digital media (social media, gaming, photography, video, blogs, etc.) to lead national conversations on pressing science topics. This program provides youth with important 21st century skills such as leadership, collaboration, and design-thinking—all necessary in developing future leaders. Youth learn valuable workplace skills from the scientific, technology, and creative professionals of the Academy and beyond. And they are provided with numerous opportunities to share their digital science stories with the public on the museum floor, to the wider Bay Area community, and on various digital platforms and channels.
